On Monday night, January 20, 2014 BroadwayWorld.com kicked off its 10th Anniversary Celebration with the first in a series of concerts to be presented in the upcoming year. It was an historic night for so many reasons and although yesterday was spent in BroadwayWorld 'after-glow and recovery' we rushed out the behind the scenes photos, taken by two photographers who were with us since the beginning - Linda Lenzi and Walter McBride. Just last night, BroadwayWorld kicked off our 10th Anniversary concert series with not one, but two triumphant performances of BROADWAYWORLD.COM VISITS OZ at Joe's Pub at The Public Theater. The cast not only donated their time and talent to this amazing double-header event, but also took the time to sign posters for sale to raise additional funds for Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS. Dan Lauria, John Bolton, Erin Dilly and Caroline O'Connor to Return to A CHRISTMAS STORY; Full Cast Announced

The producers of A Christmas Story, The Musical have announced the full cast for the production when it arrives at The Theater at Madison Square Garden for its December 11 - 29, 2013 engagement. Reprising their roles will be Dan Lauria (Lombardi, 'The Wonder Years,' 'Sullivan and Son') as Jean Shepherd, John Bolton (Spamalot, Contact, Titanic, 'Boardwalk Empire,' 'Gossip Girl') as the Old Man, Tony Award nominee Erin Dilly (Nice Work if You Can Get It, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang) as Mother and Caroline O'Connor (Chicago, Moulin Rouge) as school teacher Miss Shields. Eli Tokash (Mary Poppins) will play Ralphie at certain perforances, Noah Baird as little brother Randy, and Jake Lucas (Newsies, Far From Heaven), donning the famous spectacles will take on the lead role of Ralphie.
ELF National Tour to Launch in November 2013!

ELF's most recent Broadway engagement closed at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre on January 6, 2013, and according to an Equity casting notice, the show will be back for this holiday season. NETworks Presentations will launch a national tour on November 5. Venues have not yet been announced, but the production will feature direction by Sam Scalamoni and choreography by Connor Gallagher.

On today's "LIVE with Kelly and Michael," the show kicked off "LIVE's" "Holidays in New York Week," which features a full slate of segments showcasing the best that the Big Apple has to offer during the holiday season. Hosts Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan announced today that a highlight of the week will be co-host Michael Strahan making his Broadway debut in the Christmas-themed favorite "ELF."

Just last night the Benefit Concert Reading of ASSASSINS took place at Studio 54, on the same Broadway stage that Assassins thrilled audiences in 2004. The evening featured musical direction by Paul Gemignani and reunited the stars of the 2004 Tony Award winning production, including: Becky Ann Baker (Sara Jane Moore), James Barbour (Leon Czolgosz), Mario Cantone (Samuel Byck), Michael Cerveris (John Wilkes Booth), Alexander Gemignani (John Hinckley), Neil Patrick Harris (Balladeer/Lee Harvey Oswald), Marc Kudisch (Proprietor), Jeffrey Kuhn (Giuseppe Zangara) and Denis O'Hare (Charles Guiteau). The role of Lynette "Squeaky" Fromme originally played by Mary Catherine Garrison, was played by Annaleigh Ashford.
