Ghostlight Records will release a special EP of world-premiere recordings by acclaimed singer/songwriter SHAINA TAUB - which she wrote for and performed in the hit Off-Broadway production of Old Hats - on Friday, April 29.

Steppenwolf Theatre Company announced today the summer lineup for LookOut, a new multi-genre performance series, presenting a wide variety of work from a diverse array of voices, artists emerging and established alike. LookOut programming will take place throughout the summer in the 1700 Theatre, Steppenwolf's new 80-seat black box space at 1700 N Halsted St, which connects to the existing building.

The singer-songwriter's music and performance complement Bill Irwin and David Shiner's baggy pants silliness in this revival of the side-splitting show.

On Friday, September 25th Pipeline Theatre Company opened their World Premiere of Andrew Farmer's haunting play THE GRAY MAN. The production, directed by Andrew Neisler (Clown Bar) will run at Walker Space (46 Walker Street between Broadway and Church Street) through October 18th. Pipeline Theatre Company will present the World Premiere of Andrew Farmer's haunting play The Gray Man, September 24-October 18 at Walker Space (46 Walker Street between Broadway and Church Street). Performances will be Wednesday through Sunday at 8pm with additional performances on Saturday at 5pm and Tuesday, October 13 at 8pm. Early bird tickets ($20) will go on sale August 20. Regular ticket sales ($25) will begin September 3. Tickets will be available for purchase online at www.pipelinetheatre.org. The show runs approximately 90 minutes, with no intermission.

Now in its 20th season, SUMMERWORKS will run May 20th through June 29th at The Wild Project (195 E 3rd Street) in Manhattan, and will feature productions of three new plays: D DEB DEBBIE DEBORAH by Jerry Lieblich, directed by Lee Sunday Evans; CARD AND GIFT by Kate E. After a year of traveling and performing all over the country, singer/songwriter Shaina Taub - winner of the 2014 Jonathan Larson Grant - returns home to New York to present an evening of her original songs with her band, on Wednesday November 19 at 7:00 PM at Joe's Pub at The Public Theater. Shaina will be joined by her bandmates bassist/singer Mike Brun (Mr. Burns, Old Hats) and drummer/singer Jacob Colin Cohen (One Man, Two Guv'nors; Old Hats), pianist David Farrell Melton and singer Grace McLean (Bedbugs!!!), Catherine Brookman (Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812) and Starr Busby will make special guest appearances. The set list will features selections from Old Hats, There's A House, Robin, songs from Taub's two EPs, and many brand new songs as well.

Shaina Taub will play at Joe's Pub (425 LAFAYETTE STREET), Wednesday Nov. 19 at 7pm (doors open at 6pm). She'll be joined by trio-mates, Jacob Colin Cohen and Mike Brun. They performed in Old Hats out west together, and they'll be featuring some of the tunes from it. The incomparable Dave Melton will be joining on keys, with three phenomenal vocalists singing on many songs: Grace McLean, Catherine Brookman & Starr Busby.

The NEO 10 concert featured songs by this year's NEO writers: Bobby Cronin, Gabriel Kahane, Shaina Taub, andSam Willmott. A vacant building on Howard Street, Evanston's first craft brewery and an 18-hole public golf course are sites for the three off-campus productions in the S.I.T.E. Festival, co-presented by Northwestern University's Virginia Wadsworth Wirtz Center for the Performing Arts -- formerly known as the Theatre and Interpretation Center. The plays will run through June 7.
