Time Warner Cable, in partnership with HBO, will present the Season 4 Red Carpet Premiere of the HBO series 'Boardwalk Empire' on Tuesday September 3rd in New York City. Time Warner Cable will provide Boardwalk Empire fans with exclusive access to all the red carpet activity with a live-stream event beginning September 3rd at 6:00 p.m. eastern time. Customers can tune into the live-stream on Time Warner Cable's Facebook page (www.facebook.com/twc) or YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/twc) for the one-hour event.

Artists Rep announces Michael Mendelson will step in to play the lead role of Felix Artifex, as Todd Van Voris must leave the production due to a family emergency. Artistic Director Dámaso Rodriguez will now direct Mendelson and guide the show to opening as the production's Associate Director. Originally slated to begin preview performances next Tuesday, September 17, the run dates for Mistakes Were Made will now be pushed back one week. Preview performances will begin September 24 and the play will open on September 28.

A Red Orchid Theatre announces new performance dates for its smash-hit production of Sam Shepard's Simpatico, directed by ensemble member Dado and featuring ensemble member Michael Shannon. Founded in 1979 by its Artistic Director, Jeffrey Horowitz, Theatre for a New Audience's next act is about to begin with the opening of its Center for Shakespeare and Classical Drama in Brooklyn. The inaugural production is Julie Taymor's staging of A Midsummer Night's Dream by William Shakespeare with original music by Elliot Goldenthal. Previews begin October 19 for an opening on November 2.

After flying into the record books in its opening, Warner Bros. Pictures' and Legendary Pictures' 'Man of Steel' continues to soar at the box office. The film crossed the $500 million mark on Saturday, June 29. The announcement was made today by Warner Bros.
