Vineyard Theatre today announced that the world premiere of the musical BROOKLYNITE, helmed by Tony Award-winning director Michael Mayer (HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH, SPRING AWAKENING), would begin performances Friday January 29th, with an opening night set for Wednesday February 25th. This limited engagement continues through Sunday March 22nd.

This year the organization honored Jules Fisher, Lynn Nottage, and the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation at 583 Park Avenue in New York City. The performances included previews of two productions from TCG Member Theatres: A Walk on the Moon (New York Stage and Film) and Immediate Family (About Face Theatre, Center Theatre Group, and the Goodman Theatre). Golden Globe and Drama Desk Award winner Michael C. Hall has extended his limited engagement in Hedwig and the Angry Inch. Hall will play his final performance in the Tony Award-winning Best Musical Revival on Sunday, January 18. Casting for the next Hedwig will be announced in the coming weeks.
