This holiday season everyone's favorite orphan, Annie, joins Centenary Stage Company for the Family Holiday Spectacular production of Annie the musical. Annie opens November 23 and runs in Centenary Stage Company's Lackland Performing Arts Center until December 9.

Based on the popular comic strip by Harold Gray, Annie has become a worldwide phenomenon and was the winner of seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical. The beloved book and score by Tony Award winners, Thomas Meehan, Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin, features some of the greatest musical theatre hits ever written, including 'Tomorrow.'

Celebrating over 20 years of acclaimed musical theatre training for young thespians, the Centenary Stage Company's Young Performers Workshop returns to the Little Theater August 3 through August 12 with the annual Summer Festival of Shows. These talented young thespians between the ages of 8 and 18 will present a variety of musical theater favorites including; Blood Brothers, A Year with Frog and Toad, The Drowsy Chaperone, Arthur Miller's All My Sons and the ever-popular One-Act Festival. The Young Performers Workshop is also seeking new and returning applicants for the 2018 Fall Session. Interviews will be held by appointment on Saturday, August 11 and Sunday, August 12. This spring Centenary Stage Company offers a variety of educational programs for all ages. The TYRO Acting Program returns for ages 8 10 with the spring session running February 14 through April 18. The Young Performers Workshop spring session for ages 8 - 18 returns running February 10 through June 3. Centenary Stage Company and Centenary University's Theater / Dance Department is also holding their Conservatory of Dance from January 16 through May 7 and is appropriate for ages 14 and up.

If you always wanted to see 'Newsies,' now's your chance. The Centenary Stage Company is performing a wonderful production of this Broadway hit for their 'Family Holiday Spectacular.'
