The LA Phil's Deck the Hall concerts feature performances by an eclectic array of artists who bring the joy of the holiday season to concert-goers during this special time of year. Featured holiday concerts at Walt Disney Concert Hall are: the rich harmonies of Chanticleer (Dec 19); the irresistible double bill of Herb Alpert & Lani Hall and The Manhattan Transfer(Dec 20); 10-time GRAMMY® winner Arturo Sandoval and his swinging big band(Dec. 21); the family-friendly fun of the annual Holiday Sing-Along (Dec 22); and the heartwarming White Christmas Sing-Along (Dec 23). Deck the Hall festivities culminate with a raucous New Year's Eve celebration featuring Pink Martini and a rare joint appearance by singers China Forbes and Storm Large (Dec 31).

Director and playwright Stan Zimmerman has found his quartet of actors for his new comedy Knife to the Heart, co-written with Christian McLaughlin. The show will play a limited run of 3 WEEKS ONLY for 9 performances (May 4-20) at the Dorie Theatre, part of The Complex on LA's famed Theatre Row (6476 Santa Monica Blvd, LA CA 90038). Show times are Friday and Saturday at 8pm and Sunday at 3pm. The cast includes Chelsea Kane ('Baby Daddy'), Todd Sherry ('Parks & Recreation'), Josh Zuckerman (A Delicate Ship) and four-time Emmy-nominee Patricia Richardson ('Home Improvement'). Tickets are $35 for Reserved Seating /$25 General Admission/$30 at the door, if available, and can be purchased at www.brownpapertickets.com. A special preview performance is Friday May 4 with an Opening Night of Saturday May 5.

Worst Cooks in America: Celebrity Edition is back on Sunday, April 15th at 9pm (all times ET/PT) with a new star-studded cast of cooking disasters who are determined to improve their kitchen game. In the six-episode season, food masters Anne Burrell and Tyler Florence each lead a team of recruits through an intense culinary boot camp where only the most improved cook is left standing and wins $25,000 for the charity of their choice and bragging rights for their team leader. This season's celebrity recruits are: Catherine Bach, Maria Bamford, Nolan Gould, La Toya Jackson, Oscar Nunez, Bronson Pinchot and Ian Ziering.

This event honors those who inspire hopes and dreams for Los Angeles at-risk youth and their families, showcasing the work being done by IHADLA to break the cycle of poverty through education, empowerment and opportunity.  The host for the evening will be actress & comedian Melissa Peterman (“Baby Daddy,” “Reba”) in her fifth turn as emcee for the event.  Pamela Miller, CEO and Executive Director of IHADLA, who joined the organization this past January had this to say about the upcoming event, “I am excited about the Dreamer Dinner and am proud to share our meaningful work with the evening's guests. Our board members, volunteers and professional staff are extraordinary - and we look forward to celebrating our amazing students, in what is always a heart-warming and fun evening.”
