Theatre Communications Group has announced new trustees and an updated list of officers for its board of directors. Members of TCG’s board serve up to three two-year terms. Board officers serve terms of one-year, renewable, and concurrent with the fiscal year of July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022.

Second Stage Theater has announced full casting for the off-Broadway production of Rajiv Joseph’s LETTERS OF SURESH. The production will feature Ali Ahn, Ramiz Monsef, Kellie Overbey and Thom Sesma.

Milwaukee Rep will present SoundStage MKE an audio play walking tour set against the backdrop of Milwaukee’s Downtown. Milwaukee native and Indigenous playwright Marisa Carr (Reconciliations), writer Deanie Vallone, sound designer and composer Andre Pluess and director May Adrales take listeners on an aural journey through the streets of the city.

BARD AT THE GATE will return for an additional two seasons starting this fall when Paula Vogel's virtual start-up partners with McCarter Theatre Center. The Theatre Company has announced The Playwright Initiative: Solo Works, the 2021-2022 season of six new plays adaptable to both filmed and live stage performance. Writers Yussef El Guindi, Idris Goodwin, Emily Gregory, Ren Dara Santiago, DeLanna Studi, and Claire Willett have all accepted commissions for the 18-month initiative.

Gingold Theatrical Group, now in its 15th Season, is continuing its new play development with the SPEAKERS' CORNER Writers Group. For the 2020-'21 season, writers Kate Douglas, Aeneas Sagar Hemphill, Divya Mangwani, Seth McNeill, Sophie Sagan-Gutherz, and Marcus Scott will develop works in response to Shaw's Arms and the Man.
