OttawaMusicals returns with their 7th annual family extravaganza, Sleeping Beauty - An Annual Panto. Join us for a whimsical journey filled with laughter, music, and magic at the iconic Gladstone Theatre this holiday season.

Husband and wife producers, Sarah and Matt Cassidy, of Ottawa Musicals have announced that their 6th annual family musical, Robin Hood, is coming to Ottawa this holiday season. Robin Hood and his band of merry friends will take on the evil Prince John and his Sheriff in this zany, madcap, pantomime December 28th to January 5th at the Gladstone Theatre, 910 Gladstone Ave.

The Off-Broadway and Toronto favourite musical revue FOREVER PLAID finds it's way back onto the stage at the PANASONIC THEATRE. Highlighting the rise in fame of close-harmony groups in the 1950s, the show follows The Plaids, a four-piece group - Sparky, Smudge, Jinx and Frankie and their untimely death on the heels of their big break. Scott Beaudin, Matt Cassidy, Jonathan Cullen and Jeff Madden star in this crowd pleasing and fun musical hit.

Starvox Entertainment today announced the casting and creative details for the Toronto production of Forever Plaid. Directed and choreographed by award-winning Dayna Tekatch, the show will return to the Toronto stage for the first time in 20 years. The fan-favorite musical runs from Tuesday, May 17 through Sunday, June 12 at the Panasonic Theatre (651 Yonge St.).

On Sunday night the stars of Toronto's musical theatre scene came out to pay tribute to Des McAnuff as he received an honourary doctorate from Ryerson University for his contribution to the arts over the last few decades. Including cast members from the original Toronto production of Jersey Boys and the current Stratford Festival production of Jesus Christ Superstar, the evening was filled with good music and fantastic tales from Des' extraordinary life. On Sunday October 23rd the Ryerson Theatre School is holding a special one night only concert at Koerner Hall to celebrate the achievements of Tony Award Winning director Des McAnuff.
