The National Tour of 'MAMMA MIA!' is full of saucy Spandex'd fluff, achy back gags, and boob-grabbing, but what more could one ask for on a musical trip down memory lane?

Sunderland born actor Gary Watson will star as ‘Sky' in the International Tour of the global smash-hit musical 'MAMMA MIA!' at the Metro Arena Newcastle until 17 January 2010. Gary's West End stage credits include 'Les Miserables' and 'Evita'.

Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus' MAMMA MIA!, the smash hit musical based on the songs of ABBA, returns to the Fabulous Fox Theatre in St. Louis. Performances begin on February 16 and run through February 21.

The international tour of 'MAMMA MIA!' will play at the Metro Radio Arena Newcastle for 4 weeks only from 12 December 2009 to 10 January 2010, with a gala press night on Tuesday 15 December. This will be the show's first visit to Newcastle and the International Tour's only UK date in 2009. Producer Judy Craymer says, '2008 was a phenomenal year for 'MAMMA MIA!', and I am thrilled that 2009 will end on another high with this exclusive UK engagement.
