Casting Announced For Liverpool Date On MAMMA MIA! Tour

Casting has been confirmed for the Liverpool date of the international tour of "MAMMA MIA!" at the Echo Arena Liverpool from 3 - 20 June 2010. Craig Anthony-Kelly from Speke, Merseyside, joins the cast, making his professional debut in the show.

Craig Anthony-Kelly says, "I am so excited about performing in my home city in the world's No 1 Musical. Liverpool is a very special place and I know the audiences will be warm and welcoming - I can't wait to be there!"

Craig will be playing alongside Jackie Clune as ‘Donna Sheridan', LeAnne Rogers as ‘Rosie', Kate Graham as ‘Tanya', with Cameron Blakely as ‘Sam Carmichael', Matt Cammelle as ‘Harry Bright', Charles Daish as ‘Bill Austin', Miria Parvin as ‘Sophie Sheridan', Gary Watson as ‘Sky', Karli Vale as ‘Ali', Bleu Woodward as ‘Lisa', Steven Oliver as ‘Pepper' and Drew Campbell as ‘Eddie'.

Inspired by the story-telling magic of ABBA's timeless songs, writer Catherine Johnson's enchanting tale of family and friendship unfolds on a Greek island paradise. On the eve of her wedding, a daughter's quest to discover the identity of her father brings three men from her mother's past back to the island they last visited 20 years ago...

With music & lyrics by Benny Andersson & Björn Ulvaeus, "MAMMA MIA!" is written by Catherine Johnson, directed by Phyllida Lloyd and choreographed by Anthony Van Laast. The production is designed by Mark Thompson with lighting design by Howard Harrison, sound design by Andrew Bruce & Bobby Aitken and musical supervision, additional material & arrangements by Martin Koch.
