Shoshana Bean, the Broadway veteran and very first replacement for Elphaba, the green-skinned witch, in Wicked, brings her powerhouse vocals to The Space. Bean will perform two concerts on Oct. 25 and 26 at the performance venue just west of the Las Vegas Strip that's known for intimate and unexpected experiences. Tickets go on sale Friday, Aug. 17.

Coming straight from sold-out shows at the historic Cafe Carlyle in NYC, Tony Award-winner performer John Lloyd Young returns to The Space for another two-night engagement making him the first internationally-acclaimed performer to return to The Space's stage.  The star of the hit musical "Jersey Boys" on both Broadway and the Clint Eastwood-directed film, is set to grace the stage for two nights only on Friday, March 2 and Saturday, March 3. This very special evening with Broadway Superstar John Lloyd Young will feature a variety of music from Young's award-winning Broadway career and as a solo artist. Tailored not just for actors and performers but women and men from all walks of life, Improv International welcomes everyone to participate in this unique and life-changing workshop. For those who appreciate the glitz and glamour of Broadway, The Space (3460 Cavaretta Court, Las Vegas) announces a limited two-night engagement featuring multi-award winning actress, singer and songwriter Alice Ripley in 'Ripley Reflects' on Friday, April 14 and Saturday, April 15 at 8 p.m.

Grab your loved one and get your romance on with the Pulitzer Prize-nominated play by A.R. Gurney, "Love Letters."  Featuring five couples from the Las Vegas entertainment community, "Love Letters" is the first play to debut at The Space (3460 Cavaretta Court), the new community-driven, charity-based arts complex that opened on Jan. 5 in Las Vegas.  "Love Letters" is presented as a limited, five-day engagement Feb. 10 - Feb. 14, 2017.  

Last night (Jan. 1, 2017), the Las Vegas Company of the smash-hit musical ROCK OF AGES took its final bow at Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino after a rockin' four-year run on The Strip.

On Sunday, May 29, The Smith Center for the Performing Arts hosted the fourth annual Nevada High School Musical Theater Awards, recognizing the extraordinary talent and sheer dedication found in Nevada's high school theater students. Performer Mark Shunock has been named Creative Director of Intrigue, the newest concept in nightlife opening April 28 at Wynn Las Vegas. In his newly appointed role, Shunock will be responsible for curating an eclectic mix of entertainment forms to create a vibrant nightlife scene at the innovative nightclub.

MONDAYS DARK, created and produced by Mark Shunock, star of 'Rock of Ages' at The Venetian Las Vegas, celebrated its two-year anniversary with a high-energy performance including music, comedy, dance and a surprise performance of 'Electric Youth' by pop icon Debbie Gibson on Monday, Dec. 14 at The Joint inside the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
