Mark Shunock Named Creative Director of Intrigue Nightclub at Wynn Las Vegas

Performer Mark Shunock has been named Creative Director of Intrigue, the newest concept in nightlife opening April 28 at Wynn Las Vegas. In his newly appointed role, Shunock will be responsible for curating an eclectic mix of entertainment forms to create a vibrant nightlife scene at the innovative nightclub.

"It is such an honor to work with the best team in the business at Wynn," said Shunock. "I came from a theater background and to be in a position to draw upon my past experiences to help create unique entertainment is an opportunity of a lifetime."

Shunock previously starred in the hit Las Vegas musical ROCK OF AGES for the past three years, most recently playing the role of Lonny. He is also the creator of MONDAYS DARK, a monthly variety show in Las Vegas featuring headliners from across the Strip, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting a local charity.

A native of Canada who grew up playing competitive ice hockey, Shunock left the Great White North for New York City to pursue an even bigger passion, acting. Shunock eventually relocated to Los Angeles where he performed in numerous theatrical productions. He received a Helen Hayes nomination for Best Supporting Actor for his role as Timon in Disney's THE LION KING. He is also the recipient of the 2014 Angel Award for Cultural Advocate/Entertainer of the Year in Las Vegas.
