Broadway Vet Alice Ripley to Hit Vegas This Spring at The Space

For those who appreciate the glitz and glamour of Broadway, The Space (3460 Cavaretta Court, Las Vegas) announces a limited two-night engagement featuring multi-award winning actress, singer and songwriter Alice Ripley in "Ripley Reflects" on Friday, April 14 and Saturday, April 15 at 8 p.m.

Produced by Mark Shunock and Brandon Ellyson, this very special evening with Broadway legend Alice Ripley will feature a variety of music from her Broadway career and as a solo artist.

Tickets go on sale Monday, Jan. 30 at noon at www.thespacelv.com.

Having just wrapped the season one of the new Netflix original comedy "Girlboss," Alice Ripley is an accomplished performer from stage and screen. Ripley recently earned critical acclaim and won the a Tony-Award for Best Actress in a Musical Tony and the Helen Hayes Award for her work as Diana in the Pulitzer Prize winning rock opera "Next to Normal." She also received Tony and Drama Desk Award nominations for her work as conjoined twin Violet Hilton in "Side Show." As part of the original Broadway casts, Ripley created the roles of Janet in "The Rocky Horror Show," Molly Ivors in "James Joyce's The Dead," Betty Schaefer in "Sunset Boulevard," the Specialist's Assistant in "The Who's Tommy," and Bathsheba in "King David," as well as having a long stay at the Imperial Theatre as Fantine in "Les Miserables."

In 2016, Ripley took on the role as a housewife of a Republican candidate for the Senate who secretly forms an all-women rock band in "SUGAR!." She won three Best Acting awards for her role as Leslie in the indie musical favorite, which recently gained distribution and made a presence on the 2016 festival circuit. 2017 will see the Broadway Records release of the music of "SUGAR!." Ripley also starred in a variety of screen projects including featured performances on "30 Rock," "Blue Bloods," "Hee Haw" and "Royal Pains." Her other film projects include "Sing Along," "Isn't It Delicious," "The Adulterer," "Bear With Us," "Temptation" and "Muckland." Ripley is an accomplished musician and has written and produced her own music including Alice Ripley Daily Practice Vol 1 (2011), Everything's Fine (2001), Outtasite (2006), and RIPLEY EP (2003), as well as numerous Broadway cast and compilation albums. Each fall, Alice returns to Buenos Aires for the annual Next to Casi Normales concerts, co-starring Jennifer Damiano and Fernando Dente.

Tickets are $30, general admission seating. Rear porch seating is available for $55. VIP front table seating is also available for $65 per ticket.
