Tribeca Film Festival Hosts 'Film for All Friday' Day of Free Screenings

The Tribeca Film Festival (TFF), through presenting sponsor AT&T, will offer all film screenings taking place today, April 25 for free. During 'Film for All Friday' thirty-five TFF films will be screened for free throughout the day at Festival venues. Tickets will be available starting April 14. More information can be found below. The 2014 Tribeca Film Festival will take place April 16 - 27.
Radius-TWC Partners with Duplass Brothers & Blumhouse for SXSW Hit CREEP

RADiUS-TWC has announced that it has partnered with the Duplass Brothers and Blumhouse Productions on a CREEP trilogy after the film's highly praised and fear inducing SXSW premiere. CREEP stars Mark Duplass (SAFETY NOT GUARANTEED) who co-wrote the film with Patrick Brice, making his directorial debut. Produced by Jason Blum (PARANORMAL ACTIVITY, THE PURGE, INSIDIOUS and SINISTER franchises) and Duplass, CREEP is a unique two-man psychological thriller that upends expectations at every turn. RADiUS is also distributing Duplass' THE ONE I LOVE which the company acquired out of Sundance and plans to release on August 15th.

Joe Swanberg is the writer-director and occasional actor whose micro-budget feature films helped spark a movement of DIY filmmaking known as mumblecore. On March 1 and 2, 2014, Museum of the Moving Image will presents a weekend retrospective with this prolific American filmmaker, who will appear at screenings of six of his films in the Sumner M. Redstone Theater.

FXX, the new entertainment basic cable channel from FX Networks, got off to a good start yesterday (Sept. 2) with Primetime and Total Day deliveries that bettered prior benchmarks by Fox Soccer Channel very wide margins across the board (note: FXX replaced Fox Soccer Channel on most cable and satellite systems). The network was paced by a Parks & Recreation Labor Day Marathon from 7:00 AM-midnight.
