 National Alliance for Musical Theatre has announced additional casting for the 35th Annual FESTIVAL OF NEW MUSICALS, which takes place on Thursday, October 26 and Friday, October 27, 2023, at New World Stages.

National Alliance for Musical Theatre has announced additional casting for their 34th Annual FESTIVAL OF NEW MUSICALS, which returns in person and takes place on Thursday, October 20 and Friday, October 21, 2022 at New World Stages.

Parent Artist Advocacy League (PAAL) and Blackboard Plays have announced the casting for the 2nd Annual Black Motherhood and Parenting New Play Festival, taking place virtually from October 20 - November 14, 2022.

National New Play Network, the country's alliance of nonprofit theaters that collaborate in innovative ways to develop, produce, and extend the life of new plays, has announced the election of Roberta Emerson (Director of New Play Development, Orlando Shakes), Alexandra Meda (Artistic Director, Studio Luna), Catherine Painter (Managing Director, Rivendell Theatre Ensemble), Rudy Ramirez (Associate Artistic Director, the VORTEX), and DeLanna Studi (Artistic Director, Native Voices at the Autry) to its Board of Directors.  

Recipient of the Joseph Jefferson Award for Best New Play, Loy Webb's debut work, The Light, hits the Horizon stage from March 19th-April 17th (Press Opening March 25th). Horizon's regional premiere of The Light is an intimate, funny, and powerful look at love today in all its complexity, featuring two of Atlanta's most dynamic actors, Enoch King and Cynthia D. Barker.
