For her new show, Joan Curto (After Dark Award Winner for Outstanding Cabaret Artist) has chosen the songs of two stars who defined the American musical theater. 'Brassy, Sassy & Classy: The Songs of Ethel Merman and Mary Martin,' provides a showcase for Curto's classic, sultry styling and emotional versatility, at the Metropolitan Room on April 6.

Martin Vidnovic, who currently stars as 'Bellomy' in The Fantasticks, the world's longest running musical, will star for one night only in the finale concert of the 18th Annual New York Cabaret Convention to be held at Lincoln Center's Frederick P. Rose Hall (Broadway at 60th Street) on Thursday, November 8 at 6PM.

The 2006 MAC AWARDS will be presented on MONDAY, APRIL 17 AT 7:30 PM at the Tribeca Performing Arts Center at BMCC, 199 Chambers Street. Hosted by Lee Roy Reams, the 20th annual MAC Awards will include appearances by Phoebe Snow, Ben Taylor, Karen Mason, Carol Hall and Rocky Carroll among others.
