Season Premiere of FOOD NETWORK STAR Among Food Network's June Highlights

Food Network jumps into June with the season nine premiere of Food Network Star Sunday, June 2nd at 9pm directly followed by the season finale of Iron Chef America: Tournament of Champions at 10pm. Daytime programming also boasts three season premieres including The Pioneer Woman on Saturday, June 1st at 10am, Bobby Flay's Barbecue Addiction on Sunday, June 16th at 11:30am and Barefoot Contessa on Saturday, June 29th at 10am. With June comes grilling, and Food Network dedicates a whole weekend to grilling and barbecue with a themed weekend on Saturday, June 1st and Sunday, June 2nd from 7am-12pm featuring premiere episodes of daytime favorites. Celebrating fathers, Food Network serves all things Dad in a themed weekend on Saturday, June 15th and Sunday, June 16th from 7am-12pm. THE SCREWTAPE LETTERS Returns to Minneapolis in May

THE SCREWTAPE LETTERS, described as the provocative and wickedly funny theatrical adaptation of the C.S. Lewis novel about spiritual warfare from a demon's point of view, will return to Minneapolis for three performances only, after a successful engagement in May 2011. The production will run at the Pantages Theatre, 710 Hennepin Avenue, on Friday, May 10 at 8 p.m. and Saturday, May 11 at 4 p.m. and 8 p.m.
MSNBC Takes Top Spot in Key Demo for Week of Nov. 26-30

MSNBC was the #1 cable news network among A25-54 in the Monday-Friday 7 p.m. - 2 a.m. time period for the week of Nov. 26-30 with 290,000 A25-54, topping both Fox News Channel (287,000) and CNN (106,000) in the demo. This is the first time MSNBC has ranked #1 in the M-F 7 p.m. - 2 a.m. daypart since the week of Feb. 25, 2008 (Democratic debate - Clinton/Obama) and the first win otherwise since week of August 13, 2001.
NBC Sports Network Posts Two Most-Watched Days in its History

NBC Sports Network's coverage of the London Olympics set viewership records this past weekend with the two most-watched days in its history, bolstered by coverage of Team USA's women's soccer vs. Columbia on Saturday afternoon, rowing coverage Saturday night, and Team USA Basketball vs. France on Sunday. NBC Sports Network is airing nearly 300 hours of coverage, the most-ever for an Olympics network (cable or broadcast).
Fright Nite Friday with Fritz Set for 7/6

Local TV and radio legend Fritz the Nite Owl will host this year's "Fright Nite Friday" double feature at the CAPA Summer Movie Series. Patrons will have the chance to meet Fritz in the Ohio Theatre lobby for photos and autographs. He'll also introduce both films-Dracula's Daughter (1936) and Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man (1943)-as they make their Series premiere.
