Last presented by Florida Grand Opera in 1981, it is set against the backdrop of the Israelites' plight in the face of Babylonian domination. Nabucco's biblical themes are intertwined with a passionate love story, political turmoil, and a compelling musical score.

Haul out the holly and break out the Christmas decorations! Broadway's award-winning Karen Mason, from the smash hit musicals Mamma Mia, Hairspay!, Sunset Boulevard and most recently Wonderland will make a special return appearance to her hometown with her holiday show "Christmas, Christmas, Christmas." The show will feature a mixture of holiday standards, light seasonal fare to the more traditional Christmas songs performed in Mason's distinctive style that will even put Scrooge in the holiday spirit. This marks Karen's return to her hometown, which began as a holiday tradition when she was a mainstay on the Chicago nightclub circuit in the late 1970's and early 80s with her longtime musical collaborator Brian Lasser, before heading off for stardom in New York and Broadway.

Celebrity Series of Boston will present cellist David Finckel and pianist Wu Han tonight, October 27, 2013, at 3pm at NEC's Jordan Hall, 30 Gainsborough Street, Boston. This performance is an AaRon Richmond Recital, endowed by Nancy Richmond Winsten and the late Dr. Joseph Winsten in memory of AaRon Richmond, who founded Celebrity Series in 1938. Italy came to New York City, and in a big way! Not speaking Italian wouldn't stop anyone from enjoying this show. Voices of Italy was fantastic! Full of passion and energy, the show was nonstop excitement from beginning to end.

The Rappahannock Foundation for the Arts exists to bring cultural programs to a rural Virginia area whose two counties have fewer than 25,000 people between them. On October 19th, the Foundation sponsored a trio from 'The Broadway Tenors,' a rotating group of about sixteen singer-actors who have starred in musical productions in major venues.
