The Second City is proud to announce that Ithamar Has Nothing to Say, starring Second City alumni Ithamar Enriquez in a silent one-man sketch show, is coming to Chicago after a sold-out run at Second City Hollywood. The Charlie Chaplinesque production is directed by Frank Caeti and is currently being developed into a web series produced by Maker Studios, Principato-Young Entertainment and Key and Peele. THE BLACK BOX, downtown Franklin's new theater, music, and event venue, presents a wide-ranging lineup of live music entertainment this April. Events are slated to feature singer-songwriter Ayla Brown, Opera for Kids, and jazz vocalist April Hall. The Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra welcomes Grammy Award-winning a cappella gospel group Take 6 will headline the popular Classical Roots concert at Cincinnati's Music Hall tonight. Conductor Charles Floyd will lead the full Orchestra, along with the Classical Roots Community Mass Choir in the one-night-only performance tonight, March 20 at 7:30 p.m.

Charles Strouse (Annie, Bye Bye Birdie, Applause, It's A Bird … It's A Plane … It's Superman) will be performing his own songs for three nights at the Pheasantry, Sunday 22nd to Tuesday 24th March 2015. This will be his first ever cabaret performance in the UK, and Bonnie Langford will appear as a special guest all three nights.

The Douglas Morrisson Theatre has announced the fourth show in our 2014-2015 Journeys Season, HANK WILLIAMS: Lost Highway, The Music and Legend of Hank Williams by Randal Myler and Mark Harelik.

Versatile entertainer Ben Vereen will bring his one-man show to the Suncoast Showroom April 18 and 19.

April is Jazz Appreciation month and in recognition, the Nash announces a new series of classes for the public to learn about the history of jazz by examining the great masters. This four-part series will be led by ASU jazz instructor, Dr. Jeffry Libman, who will present four weekly Wednesday morning sessions in April each focusing on a different jazz instrument and its master musicians and vocalists. Dr. Libman will lead the discussions with histories and recordings from the great masters such as John Coltrane, Dizzie Gillespie, Thelonious Monk and Billie Holiday.
