Fania Records announced today a new association with award winning actor John Leguizamo and WestBeth Entertainment. The CD titled 'GHETTO KLOWN' - MUSIC FROM MY HOOD, curated by Leguizamo, will include tracks from the famed Latin music label and will be accompanied by a booklet with liner notes and photos.

2011 is set to be a big year for comedians who will embark on tours during the year, according to data from the TicketNetwork exchange.* Topping the list of highest grossing stand-up comedians is ventriloquist Jeff Dunham, whose Identity Crisis Tour will appear in cities all throughout the United States. An overall average ticket price of $105 will make Dunham an affordable option for those deciding which show to see.

Created by award-winning director, producer, and writer Brian Henson and actor and improvisational guru Patrick Bristow and featuring The Jim Henson Company's renowned puppeteers, this one-of-a-kind comedy made for grown-ups is playing a limited six-show run at the Irvine Barclay Theatre on Wednesday, December 29 through Sunday, January 2. Patrick Bristow serves as host for the show, and Musical Director is Willie Etra.
Cherry Lane's Fiordellisi to Step Down as Artistic Director in 2011

According to the NY Times, Cherry Lane Theatre's Angelina Fiordellisi, will resign as Artistic Director sometime between March and June of 2011. Additionally, Fiordellisi plans to sell the building, which has been a Greenwich Village staple since 1924, due to ongoing financial struggles.
