Dance under the same lights shared by Alvin Ailey and Ne Yo - Record with the same microphone as Tony Bennett and Sting- Perform in the same theater as Steve Martin and Lewis Black. Now your child can share the same stage as all these artists while gaining world-class instruction and a deeper appreciation of arts and culture.

bergenPAC, the renowned, state-of-the-art performing arts center located in the heart of downtown Englewood is expanding its prestigious beyondEDUCATION program to include three new premier classes throughout the year and the summer. Joining the highly successful beyondDANCE, the beyondSTAGE, beyondRECORDING and beyondTHEATRE classes hit the stage to round out the arts education program, which offers top quality programming to families and children to stimulate learning and spark creativity and imagination.

"beyondEducation is special as it offers world class instruction close to home while giving students the opportunity to attend master classes by touring artists performing on the theater's mainstage," noted bergenPAC Education Director Alexander Diaz. "Our goal is to create a learning environment that enriches all levels of talent while cultivating the excitement and creativity inherent in the arts for all participating."

Recently awarded the Best Concert Venue in Bergen County by 201 and home to nearly a dozen Grammy nominated performances through the Bennett Studios, bergenPAC is also the place for children to go to explore their own unique talent. By offering a variety of classes, beyondEDUCATION can meet each child's individual interests and talents, where they can be identified and honed in a fun and professional learning experience where students will flourish into well-rounded performers on stage and off working with high-quality seasoned professionals who bring their experience and love of the theatre to the program.

New beyondEDUCATION Classes Enrolling NOW!

beyondDANCE, New Jersey's premiere school for creative movement, offers classes in a myriad of disciplines for all children. World class teachers from Broadway, Alvin Ailey, ABT as well as dancers and choreographers from current music videos teach students in classes ranging from hip-hop to ballet, tap to jazz, modern to ethnic and much more.

beyondTHEATER is an after school and summer program where students mount original musical theater and dramatic works, receive instruction on acting, vocal, and audition technique, and learn about theater and the professional process through "hands on" experience. Students can audition for final projects including bergenPAC's touring Glee Club and this summer's musical production of "Fame."

beyondRECORDING is a collaboration between bergenPAC and Grammy-winning Bennett Studios where students take classes to learn about record production and music. Students create final projects based on local school ensembles, local talent and high school musicals. Selected students work on major recording projects as collaborations between Bennett Studios and BergenPAC.

beyondSTAGE includes a series of Master Classes and Artist Talk Backs where students experience workshops with professional arts instructors and performing artists. Dionne Warwick, stage designers from the Pink Floyd Experience, Itzhak Perlman, The Russian National Ballet, Lewis Black, acrobats from Cirque Mechanics, Robert Wuhl and principal dancers from Pilobolus will all participate in the program this year!
