As an investor in the original Broadway production, Pittsburgh CLO premiered this Tony Award®-winning powerhouse on its First National Tour as part of the 2003 Summer Season. The show was met with great fervor from audiences and critics, and now, a new generation of audience members will have the opportunity to enjoy this energetic musical.

Paper Mill Playhouse presents the East Coast premiere of Half Time, a new musical, with book by Bob Martin and Chad Beguelin, music by Matthew Sklar, lyrics by Nell Benjamin and additional music by Marvin Hamlisch and Ester Dean. Half Time began performances May 31, 2018 for a limited engagement through Sunday, July 1, 2018, at Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn, NJ. Last night was the show's opening night. Paper Mill Playhouse will host an online contest to promote their production of Half Time, the new musical about not acting your age. "Generations," The Half Time Dance Contest is a social contest where participants will film a video of multiple generations of their family dancing to whatever music moves them.

Paper Mill Playhouse announced today the full cast and creative team for the East Coast premiere of Half Time. The newest addition to this stellar cast is Tony award winner and Broadway legend Donna McKechnie.

Paul McGill (The Legend of Georgia McBride, Hedwig and the Angry Inch) will choreograph The Music Man at Asolo Rep this fall.  Directed by Jeff Calhoun (Newsies), the production will star Noah Racey (Never Gonna Dance) and run November 13 through December 29, 2018.  Additional casting and creative team members will be announced at a later date.

MTAP Musical Theatre Artists of Pittsburgh has announced the Incubator reading of Kaleidoscope featuring Carla Bianco and Lenora Nemetz on Monday, December 11, 2017, at 7:00 pm at the City Theatre Rehearsal Space inside the Charles Morris Building, 1300 Bingham Street, Pittsburgh, PA, 15203.

Feinstein's/54 Below and the acclaimed Second Act Series presents the short-lived musical sequel Bring Back Birdie in concert for one performance only, tonight, November 1st, starring Broadway's Lenora Nemetz (Gypsy, The Rink, Chicago) as Rose Peterson and Arbender Robinson (Shuffle Along, Les Miserables, Beautiful and more) as Mr. Mtobe.

As previously announced, Feinstein's/54 Below and the acclaimed Second Act Series will present the short-lived musical sequel Bring Back Birdie in concert for one performances only. The Second Act Series will welcome Broadway's Lenora Nemetz (Gypsy, The Rink, Chicago) to the company as Rose Peterson, Albert's beleaguered but devoted wife. Nemetz is no stranger to the role of Rose after touring in Bye, Bye, Birdie opposite Tommy Tune in 1991.

The producers of The Second Act Series have also announced that the special, one-night-only concert will feature two songs cut during the show's original preview period, neither of which have been heard since.
