Playwrights Horizons has just announced the first five productions of its 2013/2014 Season. The three World Premieres and two New York premieres (including a new musical) will be presented at the theater company's home at 416 West 42nd Street.

In celebration of Women's History Month, tonight the Screen Actors Guild Foundation and the New School for Drama present 'Changing Landscapes: An Evening with Female Directors' at 7:00 p.m. EST at the New School's Tishman Auditorium. A panel of five women at the top of their directing careers in film, television and theater will discuss the changing directorial landscape, why they do what they do and how it led to their success.

Playwrights Horizons Extends THE FLICK Through April 7

Due to popular demand, Playwrights Horizons has announced an extension of its critically-acclaimed, sold out World Premiere production of The Flick, a new play by the heralded Obie Award-winning playwright Annie Baker (Circle Mirror Transformation at PH, The Aliens, her recent adaptation of Uncle Vanya). Originally set to play a limited engagement through Sunday, March 31, the production has extended to Sunday, April 7 at Playwrights Horizons' Mainstage Theater (416 West 42nd Street).

Signature Theatre has announced the seven productions for the 2013-14 Season at the company's Frank Gehry-designed Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues). All subscriber tickets for the 2013-14 Season are $25 each as part of the Signature Ticket Initiative: A Generation of Access. Subscription packages start at just $125.

Unable to forgive her country for a grave offense, she seeks refuge in the city of her youth. As America broadcasts news of financial crisis and political change, a fractured family roams the London streets trying to understand what sparked a fatal decision in SLEEPING ROUGH, to begin off-Broadway April 11, 2013. THE MADRID Extends Again; Will Now Play Through 5/5

Manhattan Theatre Club's world premiere of THE MADRID, the new play by Liz Flahive, directed by two-time Obie Award winner Leigh Silverman, has been extended again at MTC at New York City Center - Stage I (131 West 55th Street). Tickets for the limited engagement are now on sale through Sunday, May 5. This will mark the last possible extension for the production which had previously been extended through Sunday, April 21.

Berkeley Rep's CHINGLISH Heads to Hong Kong, Now thru March 6

Berkeley Repertory Theatre's Chinglish is headed for Hong Kong. While the Tony Award-winning nonprofit has a long history of presenting work by Asian and Asian-American artists, this will be the first time that one of its shows is seen on the other side of the Pacific. After presenting the West Coast premiere of Chinglish this August in Berkeley, and reprising it in Costa Mesa in January, Berkeley Rep and South Coast Repertory bring their co-production of David Henry Hwang's bilingual comedy to the Hong Kong Arts Festival in 2013. It plays from tonight, March 1 through March 6 in the 1,200-seat Lyric Theatre at the Hong Kong Academy for the Performing Arts.
