On Monday, October 17 the Theater People podcast welcome's Broadway favorite Jay Armstrong Johnson. Armstrong made his Broadway debut in 2009 in HAIR. He next stood-by for Aaron Tveit in CATCH ME IF YOU CAN. He originated the role of Greg Wihote in the 2013 Broadway production of HANDS ON A HARDBODY and then starred as chip in the critically acclaimed 2014 revival of ON THE TOWN. For the episode, Johnson talks about how discovering theater at a young age changed his life for the better, how he was able to make Broadway producers take him seriously as a leading man, and shares some of the music from his new album 'Jay Armstrong Johnson: Live at Feinstein's / 54 Below.'

Abingdon Theatre Company has added Erin Davie, Dominique Fishback, and Krysta Rodriguez to its benefit reading of Orson Welles' WAR OF THE WORLDS.

Below, check out a sneak peak of the fourth episode of Season 3 of YOUNGER titled 'A Night at the Opera.' The episode airs Wednesday, October 19th at 10/9C on TV Land. 

According to an Equity casting notice, the new musical 17 AGAIN, based on the 2009 film starring Zac Efron and Matthew Perry, will be holding a developmental lab from November 4 - 17 at NYC's Pearl Studios.

On Monday, September 18 the Theater People podcast welcomes Tony and Emmy Award winning director Thomas Kail. For the episode, Kail discusses creating the smash hit musical HAMILTON alongside his longtime collaborator Lin-Manuel Miranda.

TV Line has reported that Broadway favorite, Krysta Rodriguez, has signed on to appear in an upcoming episode of the critically acclaimed television series, Younger.

Hello Broadway World readers! I'm Caroline Meredith, a new student blogger here at BWW. I am a student at the Orange County School of the Arts, in Orange County, California (yep, as in Laguna Beach and The OC). The Orange County School of the Arts (OCSA) is a public arts high school that offers conservatory programs in fields like Musical Theatre, Instrumental Music, Creative Writing, and many, many more!

Zachary Levi, most recently seen on Broadway in Roundabout Theater's revival of SHE LOVES ME, will produce UNIDENTIFIED, now in development at NBC.

Kushnier made his Broadway debut in the lead role of Ren McCormack in the 1998 production of FOOTLOOSE. He went on to star on Broadway in RENT, JERSEY BOYS, and JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR. He was a part of the original New York company of SHEAR MADDNESS, and he can currently be seen in PARAMOUR, Cirque Du Soliel's first-ever Broadway production.

Broadway stars and a host of musical presentations are on tap for the upcoming 2016-17 primetime television season. Included in THE LINEUP will be new series starring HAMILTON's Christopher Jackson, FROZEN's Kristen Bell and BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY star Stephen Pasquale.
