Exciting news from the Cape! Broadway veterans Krysta Rodriguez, stage couple Hunter Foster and Jen Cody, Nick Spangler and Kaitlyn Davidson are all headed to Cape Playhouse for its 2016 summer season. The news was announced earlier this week by guest artistic director Erik Orton.

Broadway officially got a little bloodier last night with the arrival of AMERICAN PSYCHO. The composers today announced that the title of the album will be 'Overture' and released the names of some of the featuring artists.

AMERICAN PSYCHO, which began previews on March 24th, just celebrated its Opening Night on Broadway last night, April 21, 2016, at the Gerald SchoenfeldTheatre (236 West 45th Street). The American premiere of a new musical based on the iconic novel by Bret Easton Ellis, which recently celebrated the 25th anniversary of its publication, stars Benjamin Walker (Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson) as Patrick Bateman. Musical theater writer and rabble rouser Joe Iconis brings his unique mash-up of showtune cabaret and rock and roll jamboree back to Feinstein's/54 Below. Each performance features a different special guest performance. Kerry Butler joined the group on April 3, James Carpinello on April 10 and 17, and Betty Buckley will join in the fun on May 9, for the final show.

On Tuesday, April 26 (1pm), join us for a Career Conversations with Danielle Brooks currently starring in The Color Purple, moderated by BroadwayWorld.com's Richard Ridge of 'Backstage with Richard Ridge!' The event will take place at The New School - University Center (63 Fifth Avenue).
