Elaine Marcos as Connie Wong, and Jason Tam as Paul San Marco. Perhaps a lesser-known cast member is Cassie herself- Sarah Bowden.

New casting has been announced for the Hollywood Bowl's production of A Chorus Line, which won the Tony Award for Best Musical.  The additional cast members announced are Mario Lopez as Zach, Sarah Bowden as Cassie Ferguson, Krysta Rodriguez as Diana Morales, and Courtney Lopez as Kristine Ulrich.

The YALE INSTITUTE FOR MUSIC THEATRE announces the creative teams and casting for the two original book musicals, Blessing, music and lyrics by Andrew R. Butler and book by Andrew Farmer, and The White City, music by Avi Amon and book and lyrics by Julia Gytri, which will be developed in an intensive two-week summer lab at Yale School of Drama, June 13-25.

THE NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL THEATRE AWARDS (NHSMTA)/JIMMY AWARDS has announced that stage and screen star ZACHARY LEVI will host the eighth annual awards ceremony on Monday, June 27th at 7:30PM at the Minskoff Theatre, 200 West 45th Street in Manhattan. Sixty-two high school students from across America will compete for the Jimmy Award for Best Performance by an Actor and Actress at the eighth annual presentation. The talent showcase will feature dynamic ensemble and solo performances.

On Monday, June 6, the Theater People podcast welcomes Tony nominee Jennifer Damiano. She made her Broadway debut at the age of 15 in the groundbreaking and Tony Award-winning musical SPRING AWAKENING. She went on to originate the role of Natalie in the Brian Yorkey and Tom Kitt musical NEXT TO NORMAL, for which she earned a Tony Award nomination.

On Monday, May 23 the Theater People podcast welcomes Krysta Rodriguez, Andy Mientus, and Alex Boniello. The three sit down to discuss the Tony nominated Deaf West Theater production of SPRING AWAKENING in which they all starred. Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi will reprise their roles as Rapunzel and Eugene (also known as Flynn Rider) from the hit Disney animated film TANGLED in a new series which will premiere in 2017 on Disney Channels around the world. The project will also reunite Disney Legend and Academy Award-winning composer Alan Menken and lyricist Glenn Slater, who will compose new songs for the project.
