It's set in a time where 'gay bashing' was commonplace, the AIDS epidemic hadn't even happened, and the only place for gay men to find love and affection was in more dangerous places.
Puccini Double-Bill Comes to Trafalgar Studios

The Olivier Award nominated producers of the 2017 smash-hit La bohème, present a Puccini double-bill, Opera Undone: Tosca & La bohème, in brand new English versions by David Eaton and Adam Spreadbury-Maher. The production will run at Trafalgar Studios 2 from 5 February to 7 March 2020. Adam Spreadbury-Maher, Artistic Director of the King's Head Theatre, will also direct the production, with musical direction from David Eaton. Opera Undone: Tosca & La bohème will have national press nights on Monday 10 and Tuesday 11 February 2020 for the two casts.

Following a critically-acclaimed sell-out run, the King's Head Theatre, Making Productions and RGM Productions are delighted to announce the smash-hit play, Coming Clean by Kevin Elyot will return to Trafalgar Studios 2. Adam Spreadbury-Maher, Artistic Director of the King's Head Theatre, will direct the production, which will run for a strictly limited four week season from 8 January to 1 February 2020, with a national press night on Friday 10 January 2020.

Artistic Director of Sheffield Theatres, Robert Hastie today announces the full casting for his revival of Guys and Dolls - Natalie Casey (Miss Adelaide), Darragh Cowley (Lt Brannigan), Dafydd Emyr (Big Jule), Jacob Fisher (Harry the Horse), Adrian Hansel (Benny Southstreet), Dawn Hope (General Cartwright), Kadiff Kirwan (Sky Masterson), TJ Lloyd (Nicely-Nicely Johnson), Matthew Malthouse (Rusty Charlie), Martin Marquez (Nathan Detroit), Ross McLaren (Angie the Ox), Garry Robson (Arvide Abernathy), and Alex Young (Sarah Brown) with Shaquille Brush (Havana Boy), Frances Camier (Havana Girl), Charlotte Coggin, Adam Denman, Emily Dunn, Tash Holway, Samantha Hull, Kate Playdon and Anthony Starr. The production opens on 12 December, with previews from 7 December, and runs until 18 January 2020.

Sonia Friedman Productions today announced Conor McPherson's (The Weir, Girl from the North Country) new adaptation of Anton Chekhov's masterpiece Uncle Vanya directed by Ian Rickson (Jerusalem, The Seagull) which will run at the Harold Pinter Theatre from 14th January 2020 with Opening Night on Thursday 23rd January 2020. Tickets go on general sale from Monday 30th September with priority booking from Wednesday 25th September.
