Abrons Arts Center and New York City Players' American Playwrights Division present Really, a new play written by Jackie Sibblies Drury, directed by Richard Maxwell and designed by photographer Michael Schmelling. Performed by Elaine Davis, Tavish Miller and Kaneza Schaal, Really is a play about grief, intimacy and the difference between goodness and greatness seen through the lens of photography. A black woman takes pictures of her artist boyfriend's mom. As they jockey for a claim to him, they try to redefine themselves in the wake of his legacy.

Articulate Theatre Company is proud to announce the playwrights chosen for their signature event, Articulating the Arts. Each AtA is themed around an artistic discipline, such as architecture, dance, painting, and for this event, folk music. Our playwrights use these other art forms as inspiration for new plays, resulting in an increased connection between theatre artists and artists of other disciplines. Rehearsals begin today for the new production of Crossing Jerusalem, written and directed by Julia Pascal, at Park Theatre (PARK90) from 4 - 29 August. David Ricardo Pearce will play the role of Gideon. The full cast is: Louisa Clein, Waleed Elgadi, Adi Lerer, Andy Lucas, David Ricardo Pearce, Chris Spyrides, Alistair Toovey and Trudy Weiss.
