Casting has been announced for the Providence engagement of Disney's THE LION KING. Providence's most eagerly awaited stage production ever will leap onto the PPAC stage from Tuesday, February 1 to Sunday, February 20. The press opening night is Thursday, February 3 at 7:30 PM.

SPIDER-MAN creator Stan Lee was recently honored with a star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame. Inventor of some of the most iconic comic book characters of all time, some of Lee's more popular creations include:Spider-Man, The Incredible Hulk, X-Men, The Fantastic Four, Iron Man, Daredevil, The Avengers, Silver Surfer and Dr. Strange.

WCBS-TV News Anchor Dana Tyler's exclusive interview with Christopher Tierney, the actor seriously injured the Broadway musical, 'Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark.' The interview aird tonight, January 2, on WCBS News. This is Tierney's first interview since falling 30 feet during the show's December 20 performance, suffering a skull fracture and cracked vertebrae.
Official: T.V. Carpio Takes Over as Arachne in SPIDER-MAN

Lead producer Michael Cohl announced today that cast member T.V. Carpio has officially assumed the role of 'Arachne' in SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark, replacing Natalie Mendoza who departed the production last week after suffering a concussion at an early preview. Directed by Julie Taymor and featuring a book by Julie Taymor and Glen Berger, and new music and lyrics by U2's Bono and The Edge, SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark is now in previews at Broadway's Foxwoods Theatre (213 West 42nd Street). Opening night is set for Monday, February 7, 2011.
