Casting has been announced for the Providence engagement of Disney's THE LION KING. Providence's most eagerly awaited stage production ever will leap onto the PPAC stage from Tuesday, February 1 to Sunday, February 20. The press opening night is Thursday, February 3 at 7:30 PM.

According to the NY Times, now that SPIDER-MAN's Christopher Tierney is on the mends, the 31 year old has made it clear that he can't wait to get back to the Foxwoods Theatre.

Disney's award-winning production of THE LION KING smashed all previous West End box office records - including its own, set in 2009 - as it completed 2010 with two weeks of sold out performances.

SPIDER-MAN creator Stan Lee was recently honored with a star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame.
