Lea Salonga, John Lloyd Young and More Set for the Cafe Carlyle's Spring/Summer Season

The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel has announced the line-up of performers for the upcoming season at the legendary Cafe Carlyle. Following Debby Boone's engagement from March 19-30th, the Cafe Carlyle will host the John Pizzarelli Quartet with special guest Bucky Pizzarelli, Paul Williams, Steve Tyrell, Lea Salonga, Rossano Sportiello, and John Lloyd Young for back to back engagements into June. Woody Allen & the Eddy Davis New Orleans Jazz Band will continue with their Monday night spot until June 17th.

Hudson Valley to Host 2013 Clearwater Festival, 6/15-16

DISNEY IN CONCERT WITH THE HOUSTON SYMPHONY Concert Set for 3/30

On March 30, the Houston Symphony will present a one-night-only performance of favorite Disney music. Four talented vocalists will join the orchestra as musical memories jump to life with Disney animation, film clips and original storyboard art projected on the big screen above the stage. While every generation has a favorite Disney movie, this concert is perfect for audiences of all ages who share a common love for the songs accompanying the iconic films. Houston Symphony Associate Conductor Robert Franz will lead the orchestra and soloists in songs from Disney movies such as The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Pocahontas, Aladdin, The Lion King and more. The enchanting music and stunning visuals of these masterpieces are sure to be an unforgettable night for Disney fans of all ages!

The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra (BSO) and Maestro Michael Krajewski present Bond and Beyond: 50 Years of 007, a celebration of the world's favorite secret agent on Thursday, April 11 at 8 p.m. at the Music Center at Strathmore, and Friday, April 12 at 8 p.m., Saturday, April 13 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, April 14 at 3 p.m. at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. The program features soloist Debbie Gravitte and includes musical selections from five decades of Bond films, such as Casino Royale, Goldfinger, From Russia with Love and Skyfall. The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel will welcome the Grammy Award-winning vocalist Debby Boone for her debut at the Cafe Carlyle with her new program "Swing This". Ms. Boone opens at the Cafe Carlyle on March 19th and will play through March 30th, where she will be joined by her music director, John Oddo, and a nine piece band for what she has described as, "The party I've been waiting my whole life to throw!'

Amanda McBroom has been called 'the greatest cabaret performer of her generation, an urban poet who writes like an angel and has a voice to match.' Her name first came to the attention of the music public when Bette Midler's version of Amanda's song 'The Rose' hit number one all over the world. But it was Amanda's performance of her own songs on the Golden Globes, the Grammy awards, and the Tonight Show that launched her career as a singer as well as a songwriter. Her songs have been recorded by the likes of Bette Midler, Barry Manilow, Judy Collins, Barbara Cook, Harry Belafonte, Betty Buckley, The Manhattan Transfer, and Donny Osmond.

In a wide-ranging season that features opera, theatre, comedy, dance, symphony, international and contemporary music, Wolf Trap continues to strengthen its commitment to the presentation of high quality, accessible and affordable arts experiences for the broadest possible audience. Tickets to the newly announced shows go on sale Saturday, March 16 at 10 am, with more performances to be announced later this spring.

The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel brings the late night, downtown vibe to the Upper East Side with its new "Second Act, A Late Night Series of Fun and Entertainment" at the Cafe Carlyle. The new series begins March 1st in the iconic cabaret room and will host the series of performances on Thursday, Friday and Saturdaynights at 10:45pm, following performances of the Cafe Carlyle's regularly scheduled season lineup. Stacy Sullivan will kick off the Second Act Series, followed by Jo Thompsonand "Midnight at Gatsbys: The F. Scott Fitzgerald Songbook."
