Victoria Playhouse Petrolia (VPP) has announced that Emmy Award winner MICHAEL LEARNED, and Tony/Emmy Award winner HAL LINDEN have joined the company of ON GOLDEN POND, running June 2 to 21, 2020. Ms. Learned is best known for her iconic role as Olivia Walton on The Waltons. Ms. Learned is a four-time Emmy Award-winning actress, three for her work as Olivia Walton, and one for her role as Mary Benjamin in her own series Nurse. She is also a three-time Golden Globe nominee. She continues to have a thriving career both on the stage and screen. Ms. Learned appeared at the VPP in Love Letters, co-starring TV husband Ralph Waite (John Walton Sr.) and Driving Miss Daisy.

The horses are saddled, the guns are slung and the chaps are ready. Head First Acrobats are riding back into town for the 2020 Adelaide Fringe with a return season of its hit show RAILED. 

The 5th longest running musical in Off-Broadway history, NEWSical The Musical, the 2011 winner of the Off-Broadway Alliance Award for Best Musical,  will be ending its historic run on June 17th.

Head First Acrobats return to Brighton Fringe, bringing their new Wild West themed show, Railed, to the Spiegeltent. The Australian quartet previously won Best Cabaret Award at the 2015 festival for their previous show Elixir.

LAGUNA PLAYHOUSE presents a co-production with the Rubicon Theatre Company, HEISENBERG, written by Simon Stephens (The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time) directed by Katherine Farmer (South Pacific, Gulf View Drive) and starring Faline England (Valentine's Day) & Joe Spano (Hill Street Blues and NCIS).

59E59 Theaters announce the line-up of shows for 2019's Brits Off Broadway, the critically acclaimed festival dedicated to featuring the UK's most innovative and provocative theater in New York City. Brits Off Broadway begins on Tuesday, April 16 and runs through Sunday, June 30.

The NHL returns to NBC on Sunday at 12:30 p.m. ET, when Alex Ovechkin and the Metropolitan Division-leading Washington Capitals visit Patrick Kane and the Chicago Blackhawks.
