In May, 2007, Girls Night: The Musical had its American premiere at in Scottsdale. Since then, it's toured successfully in the UK and the US. It is now running off-Broadway, at the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia and the Seminole Hard Rock in Florida. Tim Flaherty (photo left), owner of Entertainment Events, Inc., the producer of the show, was very excited to bring it to Las Vegas and, specifically, to the MGM Grand, located on what he calls 'the best real estate in Las Vegas.'

BWW Exclusive: After 7 years on the road, the National Tour of the Tony® Award-winning hit broadway musical HAIRSPRAY played its final show in Riverside, CA over the weekend of April 24-25, 2010. The 1960's were certainly a turbulent turning point in American history, a decade of social upheaval that has shaped the nation so significantly, that it's hard to fathom that it was just a little under 50 years ago when such openly disagreeable behavior was the norm. In addition, George Clooney and Ben Stiller paid tribute by partaking in individual pre-taped comedy sketches while President William Jefferson Clinton appeared in and narrates a piece surrounding Damon's humanitarian efforts that was be played during the show.

Multiple outlets are reporting that HAIRSPRAY's Nikki Blonsky will star on a new ABC Family TV series - 'Huge'. The show is said to be a mix of GLEE and UGLY BETTY and will take place at Wellness Canyon, a weight loss camp where Blonsky is sent.
