The American Theatre Wing has announced the newest members of the Nominating Committee for the 63rd Annual Antoinette Perry 'Tony' Awards.

The American Theatre Wing's 63rd Annual Antoinette Perry 'Tony' Awards will be broadcast live from Radio City Music Hall on Sunday, June 7, 2009 (8:00-11:00 p.m., live EST) on the CBS Television Network. The awards honor theatre professional and distinguished achievement on Broadway. The cut-off for nomination eligibility on the 2008-2009 Broadway Season will be April 30, 2009.

Spike Lee -- the director of such memorable films as 'Inside Man,' the upcoming 'Miracle at St. Anna,' (release 9/26/08), 'Do The Right Thing,' 'Malcolm X,' and 'She's Gotta Have It,' -- will direct a film of the award-winning Broadway musical PASSING STRANGE, it has been announced by Steve Klein, who is a co-producer of PASSING STRANGE on Broadway and will produce the film with Mr. Lee.

The June 2007 broadcast of the 61st Annual Tony Awards was honored today with a Prime Time Emmy Award nomination in the Outstanding Special Class-- Awards Programs category. The nominations were announced live this morning from the Goldenson Theatre in North Hollywood by actors Kristen Chenoweth and Neil Patrick Harris.

The Broadway musical PASSING STRANGE will end its run at the Belasco Theatre (111 W. 44 St.) following the matinee performance on Sunday, July 20. The show will have played 20 previews and 165 performances.
