There's just one month left to vote for the 2018 BroadwayWorld Connecticut Awards, brought to you by BroadwayHD! Nominations were reader-submitted and now our readers are already setting records as they vote for their favorites. Regional productions, touring shows, and more are all included in the awards, honoring productions which opened between October 1, 2017 through September 30, 2018. Our local editors set the categories, our readers submitted their nominees, and now you get to vote for your favorites! Voting will continue through December 31st, 2018.

This exciting musical has music written by Alan Menken, lyrics by Jack Feldman and a book by Harvey Fierstein, and is based on the film written by Bob Tzudiker and Noni White.  Performances of CRT's production will be held at the Little York Pavilion in Preble, and run from July 11 - 28 with evening show times at 7:30.  Matinees are available on July 13, 15, 18, 22, and 25 at 2:00 PM.  Tickets may be purchased by calling 800-427-6160 or by visiting the CRT Box Office at 24 Port Watson Street in downtown Cortland. Tickets are also available for sale 24 hours a day through the CRT website at www.cortlandrep.org, using the online service ETix. CRT cautions that this is the only approved online ticket service; other online sites charge significantly higher rates for tickets and are NOT approved by CRT.

Award-winning Pantochino Productions Inc., Milford's professional not-for-profit theatre for family audiences, has announced its 2018-19 season. Shows include the world stage premiere of a popular Netflix animated series, a new musical inspired by a true story, a festival of original family musicals and the return of the company's most popular production. The company will continue its partnership with the Milford Arts Council with all performances at the Center for the Arts in Downtown Milford.

For the second production in their 47th annual season of professional summer theatre, Cortland Repertory Theatre invites audiences to dust off those leisure suits and platform shoes for the musical stage version of the iconic 1970's Paramount/SRO film Saturday Night Fever. Based on a story by Nik Cohn, the movie was adapted for the stage by Robert Stigwood in collaboration with Bill Oaks, with the North American version written by Sean Cercone and David Abbinati.  The production features the Grammy Award winning songs by the Bee Gees.

Pantochino Teen Theatre will present the pop musical fable, "Go Go Beach" by John Wimbs, Michael Shaieb and Brent Lord for three performances February 24 & 25 at the Milford Center for the Arts on Railroad Avenue in Downtown Milford. The show features twenty-nine local young actors from 12 to 17 years old in a production sponsored by The Milford Bank.
