NBC Entertainment chairman Bob Greenblatt elaborated on THE TONIGHT SHOW's transition from longtime host Jay Leno to current LATE NIGHT anchor Jimmy Fallon at the Television Critics Association press tour yesterday, July 27, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Greenblatt emphasized that he wants to keep Leno on NBC.

Bill Burr has added a second show to tonight's July 29th performance at the Boulder Theater beginning at 10:00p.m.

SULLIVAN & SON is TBS's hit half-hour comedy series, executive produced by Vince Vaughn, with all new episodes returning this year. The first season garnered a large fan base, averaging over 2.5 million viewers per episode. The show stars comedian Steve Byrne, who plays the main character that leaves behind his life in New York as a successful corporate attorney to take over the family bar in a working-class Pittsburgh neighborhood. The barstools are filled with Steve's best friends played by fellow comics Owen Benjamin, Roy Wood Jr. and Ahmed Ahmed.

Lincoln Center Theater (under the direction of Producing Artistic Director Andre Bishop) has announced that Vanessa Aspillaga, Mia Barron, Robin De Jesus, Jeff Goldblum, Lizbeth Mackay, Emily Meade, Mary Beth Peil, Karen Pittman and Misha Seo will join Laurie Metcalf in the cast of DOMESTICATED, a new play by Bruce Norris, to be directed by Anna D. Shapiro, which will begin previews Thursday, October 10 at 8pm at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater (150 West 65 Street). Opening night is Monday, November 4 at 6:45pm. Additional casting for DOMESTICATED will be announced at a later date.

'Dateline NBC' (1.1/4 in 18-49, 5.1 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET) ranked the #1 in the time period on ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 (with a 1.6 rating) and total viewers. It's the fourth week in a row 'Dateline' has won its Friday time period among those networks in those three categories. 'Dateline' was also #1 or tied for #1 in the slot on ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX in all other key ratings measures. 'Dateline' is the #1 show of the night on those networks in total viewers and adults 25-54 and tied for #1 for the night with ABC's 'Primetime: What Would You Do?' in adults 18-49.

Seth Meyers (Saturday Night Live) announced at San Diego Comic-Con today, July 20, that his animated series THE AWESOMES will premiere on August 1st on Hulu and Hulu Plus.
