BroadwayWorld has a first look at Bernadette Peters as Dolly Levi in HELLO, DOLLY! on Broadway! Check out the photos below! As previously announced, Peters will begin performances as Dolly this Saturday, January 20.

BroadwayWorld has just learned that Theater Talk's episode 'Creating DEAR EVAN HANSEN' was just nominated for a New York EMMY Award for Best Interview/Discussion Program. This is the series' third Emmy® nomination. (It won the Emmy Award for this category last May.)

Edward Albee's At Home at the Zoo: Homelife & The Zoo Story officially opened last night on The Irene Diamond Stage at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues). 

The Public Theater presents the world premiere of Kings, written by Sarah Burgess and directed by Thomas Kail. Part of The Public's Astor Anniversary Season at their landmark downtown home on Lafayette Street, celebrating 50 years of new work at 425 Lafayette Street and the 50th Anniversary of HAIR, Kings officially opened last night, February 20 and will now run an additional week through Sunday, April 1.

In this epsiode, 'Hello, Dolly! 'actors Kate Baldwin (Irene Molloy), Tony Award-winner Gavin Creel (Cornelius Hackl) and Broadway newcomer Charlie Stemp (Barnaby Tucker) discuss working with director Jerry Zaks on the revamping of the massive hit after the departure of Bette Midler and the arrival of Bernadette Peters with co-hosts Adam Feldman of Time Out New York and Theater Talk producer Susan Haskins.

Ghostlight Records will celebrate the release of the original Broadway cast recording of THE BAND'S VISIT, the best reviewed musical of the season, with an exclusive in-store performance and fan photo-op at Barnes & Noble on the album's release date, Friday, February 23 at 4:00 PM. Tony Shalhoub, Katrina Lenk and the cast - with the show's composer and lyricist David Yazbek joining as special guest - will commemorate the release of the album on CD.

Music Director Rob Berman created Hey, Look Me Over!---a collection of opening numbers, grand finales, and other excerpts from beloved shows that have not yet found a berth on the City Center stage. Shaina Taub and Laurie Woolery's As You Like It, which was named one of The New York Times' best shows of 2017 after itslauded debut via The Public Theater's Public Works, is now available for worldwide licensing to professional companies from The Musical Company (TMC). The singer/songwriter's acclaimed adaptation of Twelfth Night for Public Works will also be available for worldwide licensing from TMC later this year, after its summer return to the Delacorte Theater.
