CUNY TV will salute the upcoming 2017 Tony Awards with a new TONY Preview Special on ARTS IN THE CITY, plus a new 2017 TONY Predictions episode and a new TONY Time Critics panel, both on THEATER TALK. In addition, CUNY TV will present a marathon showing of THEATER TALK 2016-17 episodes and other programs related to this year's Tony nominees - all leading up to 8pm on June 11 when the annual TONY AWARDS Ceremony begins on CBS.

The theatre critics for the New York Times have perhaps the most influential and respected voices when it comes to Broadway. Lug Nut Entertainment in association with the world popular dating app SCRUFF, has announced that comedian Judy Gold and internet sensation Randy Rainbow will join the cast of FORK ON THE LEFT, KNIFE IN THE BACK: BROADWAY ROASTS MICHAEL MUSTO.

The awards include a cash prize of $2,500 for Best Play, made possible by a grant from the Lucille Lortel Foundation. The awards will be presented at a private cocktail reception on Thursday, May 18.

THEATER TALK, the series devoted to conversation about the world of the stage, won a NY Emmy Award as Best NYC Interview/Discussion Program at the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences/New York Chapter's annual awards ceremony held on Saturday, May 6 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in Times Square.
