On August 24th, at Feinstein's at Vitello's, GLASS CEILINGS will make HERstory again with a one night only concert version of the show, presented by mostlyNEWmusicals, reuniting cast members from that production.

Two and a half years ago, in March of 2020, GLASS CEILINGS, a new musical about women throughout history whose stories you don't know but should, had an opening weekend at Rockwell Table and Stage in Los Angeles that rocked audiences and reviewers alike, and was promptly shut down by the pandemic.

(mostly)musicals' 39th edition, songs for a HAPPY new year, originally scheduled for tonight, 1.5.22, has been rescheduled for Wednesday, 1.26.22.

Richard Allen and Taran Gray, the creators of the award-winning FREEDOM RIDERS: The Civil Rights Musical will be releasing the 18-song world premiere recording in its entirety on November 19th. 

New York Theatre Barn will host a free special event live stream of excerpts from the new civil rights musical Freedom Riders on Wednesday, February 24th, 2020 at 7PM EDT. The live 1-hour presentation will also feature a conversation with the writers and a special appearance by one of the last surviving Freedom Riders Charles Person. 

LA's newest monthly musical series, Feinstein's Presents mostlyNEWmusicals, returns Monday, January 20th, 2020 (Martin Luther King Jr. Day), with FREEDOM RIDERS: The Civil Rights Musical by Richard Allen and Taran Gray.

Broadway's Deon'te Goodman (currently performing in Hamilton) will be flying from NYC to LA just for this special performance of FREEDOM RIDERS: In Concert on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. He will be playing civil rights activist John Lewis. The concert, presented by MostlyNEWmusicals will be at Feinstein's at Vitello's in Studio City, California on January 20th.

???????Dimo Kim Musical Theatre Factory, a theatre company based in NYC providing more roles for Asian American actors has announced the cast of COMFORT WOMEN: A NEW MUSICAL written by Dimo Hyun Jun Kim, Osker David Aguirre, and Joann Malory Miese with music by Bryan Michaels and TaeHo Park.

On Monday, June 27, A LITTLE NEW MUSIC debuted in its new venue, the historic Catalina Jazz Club, showcasing the best of new musical theatre songwriting with an incredible cast of Broadway and LA talent. Comedian, actress, and writer Chris Farah ('Superstore,' 'Modern Family,' 'Chelsea Lately,' solo show/cult character FANCY!) hosted the evening alongside the ALNM band (Will Yanez, Eliana Athayde, and Alex Stickels) and resident musical director Bryan Blaskie.
