TEEN CHOICE 2012 will once again celebrate the hottest teen icons in television, music, film, sports, fashion, comedy and the web in the choicest, star-studded two-hour event airing live tonight, July 22 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX. Among the nominees are GLEE star Lea Michele and 'How I Met Your Mother's Neil Patrick Harris.

Emmy Award-winner Peter Lefcourt's new play makes its World Premiere debut at the Odyssey Theatre, opening tonight, July 21, 2012 at 8pm. Mutually Assured Destruction runs 8pm Fridays and Saturdays, and 3pm Sundays through August 26, 2012.

Run by Joe Maddalena, Profiles in History has announced that costumes from Whitney Houston, Britney Spears and Jennifer Lopez will be in attendance. Taking place in Los Angeles, The Dreier Collection will be auctioned off on July 28th, the Animation Auction will be July 29th and the Treasures from the Hollywood Vaults auction has been moved to July 30th and July 31st.

According to TVGuide.com, Charlie Sheen has officially put his name up for consideration as the next judge on AMERICAN IDOL's 12th season. The actor told the show's host Ryan Seacrest that he is 'genuinely interested' in the job.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jennifer Lopez has confirmed recent rumors that she will not return as a judge on FOX's AMERICAN IDOL next season. Just a day after Idol judge Steven Tyler announced he will be leaving the show, Lopez broke the news to Idol host Ryan Seacrest on his radio show this morning.

People.com reports that Mariah Carey is considering taking a spot on the judges panel when FOX's AMERICAN IDOL returns next season. 'She's in play,' an insider tells PEOPLE. 'They are in serious talks.'

AMERICAN IDOL judge Jennifer Lopez appeared on this morning's Today show via satellite, to promote her upcoming film Ice Age: Continental Drift. During the appearance, Today's Natalie Morales asked the singer about her plans to return to the FOX reality show.
