Cape May Stage will present the 2009 Tony Award winner for Best Play: God of Carnage. Directed by Roy Steinberg (Guiding Light, Days of Our Lives) and starring John Viscardi, Michelle Eugene, Emmy nominee Fiona Hutchison (Guiding Light) and multiple Emmy winner Justin Deas (Guiding Light, Santa Barbara, As the World Turns), God of Carnage will open Thursday, June 21 at 8:00pm at the Robert Shackleton Playhouse on Bank and Lafayette Streets.

Manhattan Theatre Club will celebrate Artistic Director Lynne Meadow's 40th anniversary as the visionary and artistic leader of the organization with a special tribute on Monday, June 18. The event will begin at 6:30 PM with a VIP cocktail reception, followed by a 7:30 tribute event at the Samuel J. Friedman (261 West 47th Street). Immediately after the Friedman tribute event, a party will follow at Copacabana (268 West 47th Street).

New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) Artistic Director James C. Nicola and Managing Director William Russo and Noor Theatre Artistic Director Lameece Isaaq, Executive Director Maha Chehlaoui, and Producing Director Nancy Vitale have announced that the world premiere of Food and Fadwa, written by Lameece Issaq and Jacob Kader, and directed by Shana Gold, begins performances tonight, Friday, May 18, 2012, at NYTW, 79 East 4 Street, between Bowery and Second Avenue. The opening night is scheduled for Thursday, June 7. Food and Fadwa is a co-production with Noor Theatre, a company-in-residence at New York Theatre Workshop.
