Clay Epstein's Film Mode Entertainment announces the AFM World Premiere of OCCUPATION: RAINFALL, the sequel to the highly successful OCCUPATION, which was distributed in North America by Saban Films, Altitude in UK, Gaga in Japan, Ascot Elite in Germany, Falcon Films in Middle East, Smile in Scandinavia, Flins Y Piniculas in Spain, Aries in India, Fox TV for Pan Asian Television, Scene & Sound in Korea, and Metropolitan in France.

Clay Epstein's Film Mode Entertainment (FME) gains the attention of audiences and the media alike with the release of two highly anticipated feature films this Fall. Lifetime delivers seven movies that fall under the realm of a parent's worst nightmare, tackling topics like mental health, suicide and teen domestic dating violence among others this fall. Starting off with The Bad Seed, the evil that lies within is revealed on September 9th with the disturbing story of a father (Rob Lowe) who discovers his daughter (McKenna Grace) could be hurting the people around her. Patty McCormack also stars.

Producer Carl Rumbaugh today announced that Nicole Elizabeth Berger (All At Once, Clover) will join Cameron Boyce (Disney's Descendants) to topline in the teenage, dramatic Indie thriller, Runt, along with new co-stars Jason Patric (Speed 2, Narc), Brianna Hildebrand (Deadpool, Tragedy Girls), Tichina Arnold (Survivor's Remorse, Everybody Hates Chris) and Aramis Knight (Into the Badlands, Ender's Game). The film is directed by William Coakley and produced by Carl Rumbaugh (A Raisin in the Sun) and Gregory Thomas (Tragedy Girls), and is a production of Wagging Tails Productions, Inc.  Runt is Coakley's first directorial feature.  The film was written by Christian van Gregg, Armand Constantine and Coakley and is set to shoot in Los Angeles, California beginning this month.

As BroadwayWorld sadly reported, Tony Award Winner Gary Beach passed away this week at age 70. He is survived by his husband Jeffrey Barnett.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jason Patric is set to star in the immigrant drama Bonded from writer-director Mohit Ramchandani.

The adventure fantasy VIKING DESTINY has been acquired by Saban Films for North American distribution from Film Mode Entertainment. This marks the latest in a batch of global sales for the highly-anticipated feature film.

Theatrical Expansion to continue March 16 including VOD and Digital HD

After premiering Off-Broadway 13 years ago, The Tricky Part, heads to the City of Brotherly Love for a  two-night limited engagement May 22-23. The true story of a young Martin Moran, The Tricky Part has been called "a translucent memoir of a play … shattering and affecting" by Ben Brantley of The New York Times. This production of The Tricky Part is part of Drexel University's Entertainment & Arts Management Program's Producing Live Entertainment class, led by Drexel professor and Broadway producer Brannon Wiles.

After 10 days, 119 feature films and three feet of snow, an evening of humor and humanity marked the 2017 Sundance Film Festival's Awards Ceremony, with host Jessica Williams emceeing and jurors presenting 27 prizes for feature filmmaking in Park City, Utah. Honorees, named in total below, range from sharp comedies to provocative and timely documentaries and represent new achievements in global independent storytelling. Human stories prevailed across categories, with Grand Jury Prizes awarded to Dina (U.S. Documentary), Last Men in Aleppo (World Documentary), I don't feel at home in this world anymore. (U.S. Dramatic) and The Nile Hilton Incident (World Dramatic). Chasing Coral, showcased in the Festival's environmental program The New Climate, won an Audience Award in the U.S. Documentary category.

Hollywood Producer and Past Board Chairman Julius Nasso will receive Harbor Lights 'Culture Award' for his contributions to culture in our borough, which include the creation of The Staten Island Film Festival, and over five years of service to Harbor Lights, including a term as Board President.
