Just in time for the launch of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra's momentous 100th-anniversary concert season, seven new musicians join the ensemble's roster, including two principals (viola and librarian), an associate principal (oboe), a violin, and three cellos—expanding the section by a full third.

Back by popular demand, LA Opera will resume its annual live simulcasts at three locations this year. At 7:30pm on Saturday, June 4, 2022, LA Opera's production of Giuseppe Verdi's Aida will be transmitted live in high-definition video from nine cameras at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion to large LED screens at Newhall Park in Santa Clarita, Pomona Fairplex and the Santa Monica Pier.

Symphony of the Americas Artistic Director Pablo Mielgo presents an evening tribute honoring Concertmaster Bogdan Chruszcz, and welcomes incoming Concertmaster, Scott Flavin. The presentation will take place Sunday, March 13, with a 5:00 p.m. reception followed by the 6:00 p.m. specially-curated performance by Flavin and a post-performance dessert in the Mary Porter Ballroom at Broward Center for the Performing Arts.
