Fear not fans of subversive holiday entertainment. Theater Wit is re-gifting Chicago with its 11th annual production of The Santaland Diaries, based on David Sedaris' true comic tale of his hilarious stint as one of Santa's elves at Macy's Department Store.

Award-Winning radio host and producer Ira Glass recreates his public radio program, This American Life, at the Merriam Theater tonight, November 15 at 8 p.m. Named Time magazine's 'Best Radio Host in America,' Glass reinvents radio onstage with compelling, behind the scenes storytelling that pushes journalism to new heights. Glass engages audiences with narration, pre-taped vignettes and music, anecdotally sharing almost twenty years of on-air experienceabout what goes into making a good story.

Join Birbiglia as he he gets arrested in New Jersey, screamed at by a famous director, heckled by Statler and Waldorf, and attacked by zombie rodents.

Radio host Ira Glass of This American Life collaborates with dancers Monica Bill Barnes and Anna Bass in Three Acts, Two Dancers, One Radio Host, a hilarious and quirky pairing of dance and radio, which will be performed in Mesa Arts Center's Ikeda Theater tonight, October 11 at 8:00 p.m.
