David Sedaris Selects Seattle for Week-long Final Manuscript Workshop at Broadway Performance Hall

On the heels of yesterday's sold-out Benaroya Hall appearance, David Sedaris surprised Seattle audiences by announcing his return to the Emerald City for eight workshop readings at the Broadway Performance Hall from January 14-20, 2017. Before the publication of each new book, Sedaris selects one or two cities to host these special week-long "workshops" to put the finishing touches on his manuscript before publication. His newest book, titled "Theft by Finding," will be released in June 2017.
The Kentucky Center Reveals Details for Fall/Winter Season

The Kentucky Center is offering a wide variety of entertainment as it opens its 33rd performing arts season. Fall performances will feature legendary musician Bob Dylan and His Band, country superstar Vince Gill, the interpretive dance troupe Pilobolus, host and creator of This American Life Ira Glass, local sensation and season nine winner of The Voice, Jordan Smith and many others.

Mike Birbiglia's DON'T THINK TWICE sold out dozens of showtimes this weekend, grossing $90,126 at New York's Landmark Sunshine. This ranks as the highest per screen average of 2016, besting Woody Allen's CAFE SOCIETY, and is one of the highest exclusive opening weekend per screen averages of all-time.

Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 19; Wolf Trap members (donors of $75 and up) have access to presales and are purchasing tickets now.
