Theatre Producers of Color (TPOC), the newly formed organization committed to supporting the next generation of BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) producers by providing access to education, training, and mentorship, announced the return of their annual educational program – “Producing 101,” where aspiring producers are able to learn the fundamentals of commercial producing, including development paths, financing, budgeting, and more, with experienced BIPOC and White ally leaders as their guides, tuition free over 11 weeks.

The NYU Tisch School of the Arts’ Department of Drama and the live entertainment advertising agency Serino Coyne have announced the return of the Women’s Mentorship Program, an initiative that pairs female students interested in arts management with some of New York’s top female cultural leaders.

Managing Partners Pete Milano, Nick Pramik and Ilene Rosen announced today the official launch of RPM, a new full-service entertainment advertising and marketing agency dedicated to Broadway and other live entertainment arts & culture clients. The company is based in Times Square's Paramount Building at 1501 Broadway and its website, now live, is HelloRPM.com.

SUMMER SHORTS 2015 began at 59E59 Theaters, produced by Throughline Artists (J.J. Kandel, Producing Director), on July 17 and continues through August 29. The Off-Broadway Opening Party was held at Fogo de Chao Churrascaria last night, August 10, in New York City, and BroadwayWorld has photos of the festivities below!
