Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment and LD Entertainment present THE MIRACLE SEASON,arriving on DVD and Digital July 31. Helen Hunt and William Hurt star in this triumphant film based on the inspiring true story of the Iowa City West High School girls' volleyball team. After the tragic death of their star player, Caroline “Line” Found (Danika Yarosh), the team must band together under the guidance of their tough-love coach (Hunt) and Caroline's iron-willed father (Hurt) in hopes of winning the state championship. Together they regain their strength and spirit in order to “Live Like Line!”

LAByrinth Theater Company Presents World Premiere Of DEVIL OF CHOICE

LAByrinth Theater Company (Artistic Director John Ortiz) recently announced that they will present the World Premiere of Devil of Choice by LAB Member Maggie Bofill (Winners, Drawn and Quartered). They are thrilled for performances to begin Wednesday, May 23, and will run through Saturday, June 9, 2018, at The Cherry Lane Theatre (38 Commerce Street, New York, NY 10014). An official opening night has been set for Monday, May 28, 2018. Tickets are available for $20 each and can be purchased online at www.labtheater.org/shows-and-events

The Actors' Gang has announced an extension of "The New Colossus" due to strong ticket sales. The production will now continue through May 12 at The Actors' Gang Theater. Directed by Tim Robbins and written The Actors' Gang ensemble and The Actors' Gang's Artistic Director, Tim Robbins. The world premiere of The New Colossus began previews on February 8 and opened on February 17, 2018. Six new performances have been added on Saturday nights at 8:00pm - April 7, 14, 21, 28, May 5, and closing night, May 12.

Uptown Ventures Group, the parent company of UPTOWN Magazine, is proud to announce its celebration of “Women Directors in Television and Film” at its annual, black-tie, invitation-only “Uptown Honors Hollywood” pre-Oscar gala on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 in Los Angeles. The magazine will be doling out accolades to Dee Rees for her Oscar nomination on Netflix's critically-acclaimed film “Mudbound.” Making history, she is the first African American woman to be nominated for writing an adapted screenplay. Rounding out the quartet of honorees are award-winning directors Gina Prince Bythewood (Fox's “Shots Fired” and “Beyond the Lights”), Stella Meghie (“Everything, Everything”) and actress/director Chandra Wilson (ABC's “Grey's Anatomy).” “Uptown Honors Hollywood” will be hosted by writer/producer Chris Spencer of BET's “Real Husbands of Hollywood.”
