Gordon Lightfoot, the legendary Canadian baritone known for such enduring hits as 'Sundown' and 'The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald,' brings his tour to the Morrison Center at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 25, 2013. With his extensive musical career, Lightfoot was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2012.

This September, the Getty Museum and CalArts' Center for New Performance (CNP), in association with Trans Arts, will presentPrometheus Bound, the eighth annual outdoor theater production in the Getty Villa's Barbara and Lawrence Fleischman Theater. Featuring a newly-translated text by noted poet and essayist Joel Agee, Prometheus Bound will be directed by Travis Preston, artistic director of CNP and dean of the CalArts School of Theater, and include original music by composer Ellen Reid and celebrated jazz multi-instrumentalist Vinny Golia (who will also perform live onstage).

The Stella Adler Studio of Acting has announced that the Eighth Annual Stella by Starlight Benefit Gala will be held tonight, June 10 at Espace in New York City. This year's honorees include acting luminaries Elaine Stritch and George Takei, Broadway idol Stephen Sondheim and real estate mogul Charles S. Cohen. The gala will feature a special live performance from Ms. Stritch's friend Bernadette Peters and red carpet appearances by Alec Baldwin, Liza Minnelli and James Gandolfini. Additional red carpet guests include gala co-hosts and Stella Adler alums JANE LEVY (Evil Dead, Suburgatory) and Keith Powell (30 Rock).
