The Hollywood Bowl's production of Monty Python's SPAMALOT, the parody of the Arthurian Legend which won the Tony for Best Musical in 2005, begins tonight, July 31.

The much anticipated 2005 Tony Award-winning Best Musical - Monty Python's Spamalot - has finally arrived and is in rehearsal in Los Angeles for its July 31 - August 2, 2015 run at the historic Hollywood Bowl; and BroadwayWorld TV's own Michael Sterling was on hand to talk to the cast.

BroadwayWorld has just confirmed the final casting for the Hollywood Bowl's upcoming production of Monty Python's Spamalot, the parody of the Arthurian Legend which won the Tony for Best Musical in 2005. Those joining the starry company are Broadway vets Kevin Chamberlin as Sir Bedevere, Tom Deckman as Not Dead Fred, and Rick Holmes as Sir Lancelot.

Christian Slater has been announced to play Sir Galahad in the Hollywood Bowl's upcoming production of Monty Python's Spamalot, the parody of the Arthurian Legend which won the Tony for Best Musical in 2005.

The Hollywood Bowl's upcoming production of Monty Python'sSpamalot, the parody of the Arthurian Legend which won the Tony for Best Musical in 2005, will star Merle Dandridge as The Lady of the Lake, Warwick Davis as Patsy,Jesse Tyler Ferguson as Sir Robin, Eric Idle as the Historian and Craig Robinson as King Arthur. BT McNicholl will direct. Spamalot will be conducted by Todd Ellison and choreographed by Scott Taylor. Additional casting is to be announced.

Orlando Shakespeare Theater in Partnership with UCF invites Central Florida to its 3rd Annual Free Movie Night in the Park on May 2, 2015 at 8:00 p.m. Presented in association with Enzian Theater, the free screening of the cult classic Monty Python and the Holy Grail is open to the public. On Sunday July 20th at 7pm RICH MIX CINEMA will screen live from the 02 Arena the final night of the highly reviewed, totally sold out MONTY PYTHON reunion tour performed by Michael Palin, Terry Jones, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam and Eric Idle who reunite for Monty Python Live (mostly). For many people who were unable to grab this year's hottest comedy tickets, the live screening at Rich Mix Cinema will enable the Shoreditch cinema's audiences join the crowd at the 02 in a final weepy, hilarious, uproarious, outrageous farewell to the five remaining Pythons as they head for The Old Jokes Home ....on the big HD screen.

Monty Python Live (mostly) opened on stage at the London O2 Arena for 10 memorable nights in July. This reunion promises to be the biggest live event of the year and their final show, 'The Last Night of the Pythons' will be broadcast live into more than 450 cinemas in the UK, and into 1500 cinemas worldwide.

After two weeks of intense rehearsals the surviving members of the Monty Python gang are ready to take to the stage for the World Premiere of Monty Python Live (mostly): One Down, Five to Go, on Tuesday 1st July. We are promised a "crazy party" and a "high-powered energetic show...especially for 70-year-old men".

On July 15, 2014, Monty Python's classic 1989 album Monty Python Sings will be reissued on Universal Music Enterprises (UMe).

Two special events have been announced for this summer at the Moonlight Amphitheatre. The Moonlight Cultural Foundation will present THE MIDTOWN MEN in a special concert performance on Sat., July 5. Making their West Coast debut, THE MIDTOWN MEN features four of the original cast members of The Jersey Boys in concert showcasing favorite hits of the 1960s. In advance of Moonlight Stage Productions' MONTY PYTHON'S SPAMALOT this summer, the theatre will present a free screening of the hit movie the musical is based on: MONTY PYTHON AND THE HOLY GRAIL. The film will be shown on a large screen on the Moonlight stage.
