John W. Engeman Theater presents OTHER DESERT CITIES, the funny, gripping and ultimately satisfying play about family secrets brought to light from Jon Robin Baitz (creator of TV's Brothers & Sisters), which was a finalist for the 2012 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. Previews began on Thursday, January 23rd at 8:00 p.m. while the official opening was last night, Saturday, January 25th at 8:00 p.m., the production runs through March 9, 2014. The York Theatre Company launches the Winter 2014 Musicals in Mufti Series Celebrating Sheldon Harnick with season opener, A World to Win, a new revue with Lyrics & Book by Sheldon Harnick and Music by Jerry Bock, plus David Baker, Larry Hochman, Michel Legrand, Richard Rodgers and Mr. Harnick. Directed by Robert Brink, and with Music Direction by Jeff Saver, the four-member cast features Kerry Conte, Jason Graae, Rhyn McLemore and Aaron Serotsky. Muny Executive Producer Mike Isaacson announced today the directors, choreographers and music directors for the Muny's 2014 Season, which opens on June 16 with Billy Elliot The Musical. "We're so happy these exciting artists are creating our 2014 season," said Isaacson. "This is a challenging season, one with incredible variety and power. We're fortunate that such extraordinary talents will be creating our 'Muny Magic.'"

On December 21 at 2:00PM in Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage, Carnegie Hall's Weill Music Institute presented A Charlie Brown Christmas in a special holiday Family Concert with The New York Pops and Music Director Steven Reineke.
