Playwrights Horizons, under the leadership of Artistic Director Tim Sanford and Managing Director Leslie Marcus, is proud to announce four additional productions for its 2010/2011 40th Anniversary Season. Film and theatre production company Jean Doumanian Productions (August: Osage County) will produce a musical based on Mitchell Zuckoff's acclaimed biography 'Ponzi's Scheme: The True Story of a Financial Legend.' Jean Doumanian Productions will be co-producing the musical with Michael Shulman and Craig Saavedra of Starry Night Entertainment. The two companies jointly acquired the rights to Zuckoff's book for both the stage and film.

Starry Night Entertainment has announced that performances of the New York premiere of White People, written by J. T. Rogers and directed by Gus Reyes, will begin Wednesday, January 28, at 8pm, at the Atlantic Stage 2, 330 West 16 Street. The opening night is Tuesday, February 3, at 8pm.

The Echo Theater Company is proud to announce its fourth annual ECHO ONE ACT FESTIVAL featuring original commissioned one-acts by some of the nation's top playwrights. The Exchange (formerly Jean Cocteau Rep) takes on some of the greatest horror stories in history with the Off-Broadway premiere of The Scariest. This evening length collection of new plays by Kristin Newbom, Laura Schellhardt, Mark Schultz, and Gary Sunshine is based on the works of Nathaniel Hawthorne, W.W. Jacobs, Hans Christian Anderson, and 'The Book of Revelations.' Opening Night is March 6.
